introduction

Welcome to the sixth round of the Chenpionships! Like rounds 2-5, this will be a fic fest!

Is everyone ready?? Let’s go!!

Fic fest??? What's that???

A fic fest is where people leave fic prompts and ideas, and writers will then select prompts that they like and/or feel a ~connection~ to, and write a fic based on it! This is totally different from a fic exchange, where everyone writes a fic and gets a fic written in return~

1 April – Claiming starts
30 April – Claiming ends
15 June – First Check-in (500)
15 July – Second Check-in (1,000)
20 August – Final Submissions (2,109)

basic rules

♔ Anyone can leave a prompt (anons are also welcome)
♔ You don’t have to claim/write a prompt to leave a prompt
♔ You can leave as many prompts as you want

!!! If your prompt contains any elements of rape, non-con or dub-con, as well as phobic sentiments towards any demographic (race, religion, sexual identity), we will not add it to the prompt archive.

chenpionships is meant to be a safe space for everyone, so we will be keeping an eye out for this!

guidelines

pairing: Who do you want Chen to kissy kiss? (if any) (you can make Chen kiss himself/a doppelganger/his mirror too) (or no kissing at all if that’s what you makes you happy)
prompt: What do you want Chen to do? Where would you want him to do this do? When would you want him to do this do? How would you want him to do this do? Feel free to insert pics, gifs, links to poems/youtube vids/soundcloud, etc!
funkiness: How funky would you like Chen to be? (please follow the standard rating scale – G, PG, PG-13, R and NC-17 ratings only!)
candy points: You will give your writer candy points if they add these stuff in.
euuurgh: All your squicks and notps and other things that make you want to lose your lunch.

An example prompt has been given below.

pairing: Jongdae/Chen, Jongdae/EXO
prompt: Jongdae falls asleep while on a plane. When he wakes up he finds himself on ~*EXOPLANET*~, which is ruled by gods known to the people as EXO. He is mistaken as the Thunder God Chen, which is hilarious because isn't that his stage name and fictional power? Ha he ha ho!!!
funkiness: Only the funkiest.
candy points: He meets the real Thunder God Chen who is so happy to have a twin? doppelganger? alternate reality copy? well, it doesn't really matter. Anyway they end up doing all sorts of funky because they are Funky Chens.
euuurgh: None.

things to note before you prompt

♔ All prompts will be collected and shared anonymously
♔ And all your identities will be kept secret!
♔ So try not to tell everyone what you've prompted
♔ And have fun playing guessing games during postings
♔ A gdocs spreadsheet of prompts will be posted on the 25th of March KST

♔ If you want to link fanart, edits or manips, please, please link the picture with credit. ie. Use a link to the artist's tweet or tumblr post instead of through pbs.twimg.com or media.tumblr.com!
♔ Please do not leave any preferences towards fic length! (i.e. long fic, 10000k+, etc.)
♔ Please leave an email address we can contact you with in case of any concerns regarding your prompt. You may choose to be anonymous, but your prompt may not be included if it does not follow our guidelines and we cannot reach you.
